Yesterday, I went to the Duke gardens & downtown Durham with my friend's Jeanie & Chris. They recently got engaged on a trip to Maine & I jumped at the chance to take their engagement pictures. I'm sick of flowers & wanted to photograph some people.

My Lab

we are redoing our lab website, so i took some quick pictures of everyone.

This morning my photography class went to the NC botanical gardens in Chapel Hill.

Our after-wedding fiesta

We had a party while in Texas to celebrate our recent wedding with family & friends. I didn't take many pictures, because I had lots of people to meet & visiting to do.

Trent's birthday party

We rarely get to attend family birthday parties, so it was great that Trent's birthday party overlapped with our trip to Texas. I'm so used to calling him Mike's nephew, but I guess I'm "Aunt Morgan" now. I had a blast chasing the kids around. I learned some stuff that will help me catch them on film at Christmas.

Rex & Jane's wedding events

My brother got married this weekend. It was a great weekend & a wonderful time with family. I tried to resist the temptation to take pictures the entire time & be a bridesmaid not a photographer. But, i still took some pictures at all the pre-wedding events. Here they are in reverse order:

For a class assignment I needed to photograph someone at night. Jeanie volunteered to be my model.

Self portrait assignment round 2- in the lab

These pictures are the reflection from my lab bench. I poured water over the top to make the surface more reflective.
